Network_Boy Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Has anyone managed to figure out a way of accessing LGFL email shared mailboxes on ipad or iphone? Atomwide support say that the native Mail iOS app isn't capable of doing it, and they couldn't recommend any other ways. Ta muchly!
Network_Boy Posted June 6, 2017 Author Posted June 6, 2017 I've found a way of doing it. If anyone else knows a better way, let me know. Here's how I did it: 1. Sign into LGFL staffmail through web browser. 2. Right-click on your name on the left navigation panel, select "Add shared folder...". 3. Type the name of the shared folder and select it when it appears to add it. 4. Install the official Microsoft "OWA for iPad/iPhone" app on your device. 5. Open the OWa app, click "Continue". 6. Enter your ***@lgflmail.org email address and select "Continue". 7. A message will appear saying "Couldn't find your settings". Select "Advanced". 8. Enter your password in the password field. Enter your USO username into the User name field. Enter "LGFLMAIL" into the Domain field. Enter "mail.lgflmail.org" into the Server field. Leave the "Server requries SSL" option ticked. Select "Sign in". 9. Select "Allow" on the permissions prompts that appear. 10. Click on the double arrows (>>) in the navigation pane on the left, scroll down and select the desired shared mailbox. 1

That's interesting - are you saying that the OWA app will access shared mailboxes on iOS, where the inbuilt mail app will not? The only way I've found to date is to go through the webmail on Safari and then Open Mailbox top right to open the shared mailbox.
Network_Boy Posted June 8, 2017 Author Posted June 8, 2017 That's correct. Have a go at the steps above and it should work. Is a slightly better solution than safari. Let me know how you get on. Cheers. 1
worried025 Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 on the safari search box , hold or keep your tuch on the safari refresh circling arrow. A bubble saying request desktop site appears. touch on the request bubble and the full staffmail bar with your name appears. You can now touch on your name and the option to open other mail boxes is available.
