Backup drivers for SCCM package?

Hello,

 

What do you guys use to extract Windows drivers for SCCM Task Sequences?

 

The software I used to use is now out-dated and won't work on the below OS.

 

O/S that need drivers extracting:

Windows 7

Windows 8.1

Windows 10

I use Double Driver here, works on windows 7, 8.1 and windows 10 and is quick and simple. It can be downloaded freely from various sites, just google it.

I have used Driver Max in the past. Sometimes you get drivers that only come in .exe format. grrr

For Windows 8.1 and 10 you can use Export-WindowsDriver in PowerShell.

 

What do you guys use to extract Windows drivers for SCCM Task Sequences?

Most of our PCs are Dell so I just download the relevant driver CABs from their website.

Personally I find that method a bit 'hit and miss' (mainly miss) so I package my drivers up with a silent install switch and add them to the task sequence that way.
