iLife Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 (edited) Hello, What do you guys use to extract Windows drivers for SCCM Task Sequences? The software I used to use is now out-dated and won't work on the below OS. O/S that need drivers extracting: Windows 7 Windows 8.1 Windows 10 Thanks, Edited May 24, 2017 by iLife
noelmm Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I use Double Driver here, works on windows 7, 8.1 and windows 10 and is quick and simple. It can be downloaded freely from various sites, just google it.
FN-GM Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I have used Driver Max in the past. Sometimes you get drivers that only come in .exe format. grrr
Arthur Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 (edited) For Windows 8.1 and 10 you can use Export-WindowsDriver in PowerShell. What do you guys use to extract Windows drivers for SCCM Task Sequences? Most of our PCs are Dell so I just download the relevant driver CABs from their website. Edited May 24, 2017 by Arthur
Fazza Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Personally I find that method a bit 'hit and miss' (mainly miss) so I package my drivers up with a silent install switch and add them to the task sequence that way.
