Meraki Forcing Encryption on mobiles ?

Hi all,

 

Just enrolling some new devices with the Meraki Systems Manager app.

 

Its forcing me to encrypt the device.

I think Android 6 requires encryption according to some forums.

 

Is there a way to turn this off?

 

Not seen this before.

What are the devices?

 

Have you checked your restriction settings?

 

For iOS & macOS restrictions, under Security and privacy there is the option 'Force encrypted backup'

 

For Windows restrictions under Device functionality there is 'Encrypt device internal storage'

Cheers @ollyyllo. Yes I've checked that. I think its an Android requirement rather than Meraki but I'm not definite.
