OK. Server is back up and running. Looks like the blocks I deleted were something to do with the cobblestone packing setup you have? I deleted whatever was in between the JABBA barrels and the packagers...

 

I suspect it was actually due to an overload of cobble, clogging a duct or something?

Our bad, yeah - we had too much cobble so we were compressing it. I'll take a look at using Opaque Itemduct instead, as that helps to reduce lag vs. pipe that shows the items.

I found using enderio is the least laggy option for pipes.

I setup a Steve's factory manager to compress the cobble instead of the auto packagers. It does the job much faster, more compact and shouldn't kill the server.

The correct 'Thaumcraft' way to deal with this is:

 

1. Encase in an obsidian cube so it can't eat the terrain.
   
2. Feed it crafting tables until it has max stats.
   
3. Bottle it and bring it back to your thaumcraft base
   
4. release it and stabilise it.
