manamaga2512 Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Hi all, we're in the process of going back to Windows from Mac. On the Mac side we use ARD for remote access to iMacs and MacBooks around the school. Many moons ago when we were windows before, we used ABTutor Control, but I'm thinking there must be some other options available on the market now? What do you use for remote support / monitoring? Thanks.
Arthur Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 (edited) Currently Impero, but will be looking at Senso when it comes time to renew. Edited April 5, 2017 by Arthur 1
FN-GM Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 We use built in remote assistance for support purposes. Just a few group policy tweaks and a link to this shortcut for the techies and you're good to go. C:\Windows\System32\msra.exe /offerra
mukz Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 We use SCCM for this, obviously not just for Remote Control.
Arthur Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 We use SCCM for this, obviously not just for Remote Control. I forgot about that. I also use the Remote Control feature in SCCM too (although not as often as Impero). "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\AdminConsole\bin\i386\CmRcViewer.exe"
