Proxy not applying in Windows 10

Hi All,

 

Hope someone can help shed some light on this. Up until Friday afternoon all working fine then today nothing!.... On windows 10 clients internet LAN settings are no longer being applied. when I have a look at where the proxy info is meant to be its empty and the "use proxy server" box is not ticked. the thing is in the Home page tab if I change the homepage it updates and tries to load after the user has logged off and on again so parts of the policy are working.

 

Any ideas ?

Where in your group policy for IE are you setting the proxy?

User Configuration > Preferences > Control Panel Settings > Internet Settings. Worked perfectly until the other day

What is the result of a Group Policy Result wizard. Try running it on a machine where a student has logged in. Also is this for Edge or Internet Explorer?

All applied with success apparently ! really strange if I apply the student proxy policy it works immediately. Have even created a new policy and that doesn't work either.. very bizarre!
