Wow .... Just... Wow! Instantly recognisable, for those of us of a certain age, although a slightly darker guitar sound than I remember. I 'may' (cough) have had a bit of a 'thing' for Debbie Harry in the early eighties - along with virtually every other teenage boy on the planet, I suspect! 'Sunday Girl' was my favourite...

Have now entered 5th May on my calendar to remind me to spend some money on iTunes...

I married Mr gee40 despite him telling me he was in love with Debbie Harry whilst very drunk one evening long ago

He's now claiming it was the late 70s he was in love with Debbie Harry, but we didn't start dating until 1984 so it was definitely later than that

That's the trouble. The 80's were full of the catchiest tunes ever but so many bands & singers got away with murder because of that. Debbie Harry would never have gotten a look in these days, Bonnie Tyler would be force fed packets of Tunes until she sounded less like a wookie with a bad throat and the Pet Shop Boys might have had some lessons in singing rather than speaking.

Maybe I'm just an old git, the first single I bought (from Woolies) was Anarchy in the UK - so it's no surprise that I can't appreciate a good singing voice
