The software we have does not work, its a pinnacle studio 8, and its trying to write the image across the network to my documents folder. And you would think there would be an option to change the location of where the files are kept. But no. So it just sits there and hangs. arghhh, so any free software that you use to create the dvd image / burn the dvd would be a lot of help. (Tick has developed into gentle rocking.)

Joanne Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Does nero come with every dvd burner now? Found that to be quite good. Always gotta start it up in 'start smart'. You can change where it sticks the image too. The reason it hangs is probably due to a space issue... but you probably allready knew that!

I have that but it wants a prepared video folder with the vob files ect in it, which is the bit I am having trouble with. (having a huge head ache is not helping either).

dezt Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 I've used some software called convertXtoDVD, it converts .avi files to DVD format and burns them for you. Not free though.

If so post back with the info and I will post back with a specific how to ( from videohelp or doom9 ) 1
