Training Suggestions?

Hi, I'm looking into a training course for Nova T6 (timetabling) to refresh my skills and just wondered if anyone had any suggestions/recommendations where to start? I'm aware of the 4 day course SIMS provide I was just wondering if anyone was aware of any other options? Thanks

Does your LA provide SIMS support - I know ours (Durham) runs NovaT training.

Are you based in North Yorkshire? You could contact school icts (not local authority) in Leeds, they do reasonable priced training. Otherwise you contact schools ict(local authority) I believe both offer training.

If you can find it, buy this book - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Making-Most-SIMS-net-Timetabling-Effectiveness/dp/1905538278/. It's not about button pressing but the process. Very good read.

Have a look around for someone to come to you, for the money you'd pay capita you could probably get someone to come to your desk and work with you on your own data.
