I know how to setup CMIS under Windows XP (which works OK) but somebody has come up with the bright idea of running XP on a MAC using VMware Fusion and then running CMIS on that. Has anyone tried this and have you had success? It sounds like a recipe for a disaster to me, and I have grave reservations about stability. I personally think it is best to run CMIS on an XP box and keep the MACs for what they do best, which is running OSX.

Surely it should be no different, if its running XP on top of MACOS in a VM then all CMIS will see is a Windows PC.

(goes to have a deep shower after posting RE a mac)

Shouldn't this be under the S&M forum?

other than the machine running slightly slower due to sharing resources with XP, things work fine and is very useable.

Our head runs CMIS under parallels without a problem. and some might argue that Mac's run windows better too :p
