With regards to a windows xp setup simulator but wanted to know if there was a mac os x simulator with regards to anything mac os x ie setting it up, after its setup etc, I know there is that fake one that pretends to unload windows etc but as you all know ( I am dieing for this ibook to just get here ). Need I say more lol.

Like any PC that comes with an OS turn it on and the setup is scripted, just fill in the information it requests.

MBNA can go and jump off a cliff, im going to the birmingham bullring apple store this weekend , still no paper work.

 

How hard is it to send one piece of paper work ( the right piece of paper work) to one person.

 

Anyway I wont be using them unless I really need to which I doubt cos Im gonna try and get it from the apple store in birmingham

It takes a little longer than a few days to set up a credit agreement like the one you have- especially when you have changed the order amount, product, and delivery address.

 

Try calling Apple again and see what they say.

I ordered it last week on tuesday night, I have only changed the order once and changing the address didnt effect the order because I hadnt sent them back the paper work because they said it would only effect it if I had sent back the paper work signed and then wanted to change it and since I havent recieved any paper work, its a little hard to do that.

 

Patience isnt something I have when I want something lol As you noticed with my nano lol

They sent you the paperwork.

 

You changed the order.

 

They said they would re-send the paperwork to reflect your new order.

 

You got the paper-work- but for your original (it was probably sent before you changed the order).

 

It's only Tuesday. After changing the order, I don't think it's been that long. What- three working days max? How many people do you think order via MBNA on any given week (and not just from Apple)?

Either way, Im still gonna go to the birmingham store cos waiting the week or two just doesnt strike me as something I want to do.

 

Walking out the store with an ibook versus waiting the extra week or two for apple to deliver it hhhmmmmm tough one..... lol

I got my Mac Mini from the Bullring store (its usually packed in there) and i did it thru an MBNA agreement there and then, walked away with it within an hour of walking in.

 

Dont forget if you are going to do that, you need to cancel the original agreement or you might end up with 2 iBooks and a big bill to pay...

Did you need any id or anything else or how did it work ?

 

I havent recieved the paper work from mbna for this first one and obviously you have to sign and send it back to them for it to work with regards to doing it via post ( So If i keep the paper work that mbna send me without signing it and sending it back ) then go to the bull ring apple store and do it that way, that would work without getting the 2 bills right ?

You need to take proof of address and proof of signature with you if i remember rightly, (i jus take a bunch of bills, payslip council tax book and my wallet with me).

 

You should still inform apple/mbna that you are not going ahead with the order as it will be currently pending with them and mbna, which could affect your ability to purchase in the shop. plus its good practice
