Turnstile System for select students access

Just wondering if any other schools have had this done or anyone knows a solution to this. We need a area restricted for only our face students but want a turnstile system in place where kids can swipe in using an id badge or fob.

 

Anyone know where to start looking at this?

If it was me I wouldn't waste the money on a turnstyle, just a door and say a paxton reader plus a card to each kid/staff.

This. Otherwise if you have to have a turnstyle then you just need to find one that will take either normally open or normally closed relay output to tell it whether to allow them through, wire up to a Paxton controller, and give the kids cards.

A door entry system might also be more adaptable for wheelchair access.

Again - don't bother - we had them for a while, but they just didn't work, kids jumped over, wriggled under, lent each other cards and they were a risk should you need to do a swift evacuation - complete waste of money. They all went for scrap.
