Adding a 'from' email address

Hi,

 

Hope I've put this thread in the right forum!

 

Just wondering if anyone knows if it's still possible to add a 'from' email address in a yahoo/google/outlook (or other) email account if you don't have a proper account for that email address (e.g. if it's forwarded from a domain that you own).

 

I've done this for my own domain names with yahoo, google, and outlook accounts in the past, but when I went to try doing it today for some new email addresses for our scout groups domain name, all of the options that I can find keep asking me to log into an email account.

 

Is this not possible anymore?

 

If it's not possible, does anyone know of any alternatives methods/services (preferably free) that a scout group could use?

Yes - sorry for starting a new thread - thought if I posted in general instead it might be more likely to get a response, but I couldn't work out how to delete/move this thread!
