500GB (ish) SSD

Does anyone know the cheapest place to get an SSD of around 500GB (Anything just under / over that capacity absolutely fine as I know they come in slightly odd sizes!)

 

For a mate so doesn't have to be top performance or anything, I did recommend him one I found for about £95 the other week on Amazon but being as lazy as he is failed to order it and now that has almost doubled in price!

Unfortunately, SSD prices are skyrocketing at the moment. it's a trend not likely to change in the next few months either..

Shame this one is 525Gb for £127 on Amazon but is that within his price range?

A 525GB Crucial MX300 is currently £122.25 on Amazon (the same drive @Boredguy mentioned above)...

Btw, buy the drive through Flubit and you can get it for under £114.

He went for the Amazon one in the end as he had some vouchers to use up on there. Of course he could have done the same a couple of weeks ago and saved £30 or so but there you go!
