Badzeye Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Hi guys and girls, ive been told that currently out early years teachers gather evidence in powerpoints and print everything out at the end of the year... I know. This seems to me like a horrible way to keep hold of evidence. I know froma few friends that some nurserys use software that syncs to parents phones and tablets that could be worth looking into. Would save us loads of printing. I was just wondering if any of you had any experiance with this type of software or can pass on and recomendations? thanks for the help!
supawat1 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Our school is using 2Simple 2 build a profile for the past 3 years now. It's been working great. Target Tracker does Target Tracker Observations App as well.
Jamman960 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 We're using Tapestry, the parents love being able to see whats going on during the year. Its not particularly expensive either, think we pay under £300/year for upto 120 pupils.
hallb15 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 We use 2Simple 2Build a Profile here as well. EYFS staff love it. Teachers use it on their iPads and TAs use it on iPods so they've always got a device on hand for logging evidence, making notes etc...
simonw Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I have one school using Tapestry (EYFS) and Target Tracker , and my other school uses 2Simple 2 Build a Profile. Had no complaints about either solution.
