Advice needed - I need to get an antique BBC Acorn Robot Vehicle valued.

Hello, I have been trying to find out how much my 'Clwyd Technics, TREKKER, Robot Vehicle' is worth but can't find anything value wise on the web.

 

I have found a link to it in an old New Scientist magazine and a few other links but nobody seems to have sold one.

 

 

It is in amazing condition and has the manuals and software / disks etc. They originally went for £139:95 in 1985.

 

Any ideas where should I look or who should I ask to get it valued.

As with anything, it's probably worth exactly what someone is willing to pay, be it £20, £50 or £100.

The problem with obscure computer stuff is that back then there were a LOT of companies making weird and wonderful computer bits and pieces and the value is largely dependent of the demand from modern collectors for specific makes/models of peripherals.

Might just dump it on Ebay and see

Put some feelers out on the Acorn newsgroups. You might even get some offers. These guys tend to be the real enthusiasts and by the look of it, the acorn.hardware group is still quite active.
