We're looking at moving from Backup Exec disk to disk to tape solution to Veeam and a NAS and copy jobs to the cloud solution.

I've identified the amount of raw data that the servers I wish to have in the cloud comes to and it's around 3.5 TB - but I wondered what level of compression, and with deduplication, I might expect to get the data size required down to?

Anyone got any live figures they'd be happy to share?

What are you looking at in terms of cloud storage? A single point in time backup or long time archival? I found the prices went up pretty quick for large amounts of space.

A Veeam Cloud Connect repository space for our off-site backups.

Strangely our raw data size looks very similar to @Arthur 's at around 3.7TB so we'll be looking at something around the 2.5TB mark I think.

I've had a quote from VSL for around £4,200 for Veeam Cloud Connect / WAN Acceleration / Unlimited Retention / Seed Load from Customer Drive

This was for 7 VM's.
