Hi All,

Just wondering when you guys are 'end of life'ing iPads in your schools?

We have a batch of iPad Mini devices which are now deemed 'end of life' by Apple and weren't updated to iOS 10, so now I'm trying to work out how much longer we keep them and when I should be budgeting in for new ones.

We have around 27 iPad Minis at the moment that are old, so I'm thinking maybe I should be budgeting in to replace half this April and half next? Maybe I'll wait another year and then start thinking about it.

What are your guys' thoughts, or what are you planning to do?

Cheers :)

I've got 48 of the rascals and we've only had them for a couple of years. Gonna just keep using them until the apps stop working methinks. I estimated the life to be 4 years, so fingers crossed!

This is my problem, there's actually nothing wrong with them on iOS9 and they're plenty fast enough but I dare say Apps will slowly start disappearing :/

Our staff iPad 4's are three years old now, and we've just agreed to replace them this financial year (to Sept).

At the same time, an email arrived from http://www.tradeitin.uk.com/ who will give us £98 back for each iPad we trade-in. They were supposedly at BETT but I couldn't find them on the exhibitor list.
