Hi guys,

I was talking to a company that provided an app for teachers (did everything, assessment, behaviour etc) and it looked really nice. It also, crucially, was available via a browser, and had a parent-end too.

Anyway, forgot what it was called! Got a card but seem to have misplaced it- has anyone got a BETT map or a link to one? Or better still, recognise this app (I'd never heard of them)... it's main menu was a pupil photograph in a circular wheel with the menu items around the photo. It was largely a purple colour (not groupcall).

Cheers all!

GroupCall?

I mentioned in the original post that it looked like Groupcall, but wasn't.

As I said, I'd never heard of it - but it was very polished, allowed writing back to SIMS, and looked lovely. Cross-platform and with a few tweaks, could be a great front end for teachers; just didn't manage to see the desktop version which is what I'm trying to seek out !

Schoolcomms?

Schoolcomms has an app that works on all phones, and a desktop version that works across all browsers, that allows staff to do:

Registers

Assessment

Achievement/Behaviour

As well as a parent version, too?

Don't know! I just remember seeing it at BETT. Maybe it was more parent orientated.

Was it Weduc? I had a demo of that while I was there, looked pretty good... https://www.weduc.co.uk/

Yep, that's the one that I was just about to post. I wouldn't have seen it if it hadn't been for the ANME Trail. That's the second company that the trail introduced me to, along with Mytec Group.

Same here- wouldn't have looked at it had I not been doing the ANME trail @RichCowell

Some of the stands drove a hard bargain for a business card- requiring a few minutes of sales talk, although it was certainly helpful for people like Foldr and TASC as I learnt quite a bit more about their respective offerings.
