tben2505 Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Hi guys, I was talking to a company that provided an app for teachers (did everything, assessment, behaviour etc) and it looked really nice. It also, crucially, was available via a browser, and had a parent-end too. Anyway, forgot what it was called! Got a card but seem to have misplaced it- has anyone got a BETT map or a link to one? Or better still, recognise this app (I'd never heard of them)... it's main menu was a pupil photograph in a circular wheel with the menu items around the photo. It was largely a purple colour (not groupcall). Cheers all! T

tben2505 Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 isams maybe? https://www.isams.com No it wasn't an MIS - it spoke to SIMS too.
tben2505 Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 GroupCall? I mentioned in the original post that it looked like Groupcall, but wasn't. As I said, I'd never heard of it - but it was very polished, allowed writing back to SIMS, and looked lovely. Cross-platform and with a few tweaks, could be a great front end for teachers; just didn't manage to see the desktop version which is what I'm trying to seek out !

Don't know! I just remember seeing it at BETT. Maybe it was more parent orientated.
dry Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 I remember seeing it too... it was one of the stops on the ANME trail. Think it's this: Introduction - Overnet Data 1

ITBadger Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Yep, that's the one that I was just about to post. I wouldn't have seen it if it hadn't been for the ANME Trail. That's the second company that the trail introduced me to, along with Mytec Group. 1
DJ-1701 Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 I noticed it didn't say this on the website, but I still have an leaflet Overnet handed out for EduLink One at BETT. No hidden setup, support or per-user costs Secondary: £2000 pa Primary: £800 pa Onsite or Cloud hosting options available

Same here- wouldn't have looked at it had I not been doing the ANME trail @RichCowell Some of the stands drove a hard bargain for a business card- requiring a few minutes of sales talk, although it was certainly helpful for people like Foldr and TASC as I learnt quite a bit more about their respective offerings. 1
OvernetDamien Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Yes, that's our app alright! It is available to download from the Google Play and Apple Stores and there's a demo mode so you can get a feel for what it's like to use and the range of functionality currently on offer - or try it right now on web at http://www.edulinkone.com - just click DEMO More details here: Introduction - Overnet Data ...or give us a shout on 01604 807545 to have a chat about it. 3
