Graphic drivers for Dell vostro 15 3568

Hi all

Was wondering if anyone had a dell vostro 15 3568 installed with win 7 x86 and found a working graphics driver for it.

 

The driver is ven 8086 (intel) Dev 5916

I'm guessing this has a Kaby Lake (7000) series CPU? I've not used anything of this generation, but Intel's latest 32 bit drivers support Skylake at the latest. Have you tried their own drivers? - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25620/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40-6th-Gen-?product=80939 Unfortunately thechnage to 6** series graphics may well mean that the HIDs etc are all totally different as there are architecture changes. Intel only offered pre-Windows 10 drivers at a push - I suspect 32 bit is too much of a stretch. Worth supporting 64 bit to use these machines horsepower more effectively? thanks GTECH for your input. as you correctly mentioned it is the 7th gen cpu which intel no longer support 32bit drivers. whilst I managed to find all the other drivers I have had to settle with standard VGA driver supporting a max res of 1366x 768 which admittedly is not bad for normal day to day operations but not ideal really either.

@dapaulio, do your Vostro 3568's boot to an external monitor ok?

We recently bought lots of these and have just found that none of them boot to external monitor.

 

The graphics driver (Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver_PDTP9_WIN_21.20.16.4574_A04.EXE) just says ""this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software".

I am on Dell Support Chat now. I have done this from a fresh W7 install.

 

No doubt Dell will want me to do everything I have already done.

Do you know of any other working drivers for W7 Pro x64?

You're trying to hammer that square peg into a distinctly elliptical hole. You either need to reconsider your purchase, or look at running Windows 10 on the device - these machines don't support older OSs officially and especially not 32 bit versions. Bear in mind Windows 7 is now eight years old.

Agreed. All driver install attempts futile. Have given up. As you say, Win7 not suitable or indeed even supported on 7th gen CPU's.

I'm not sure I'm on the same page (different Dell PC, the model I can't recall just now) but I tried an in-place upgrade from W7 to W10 and it failed on this very issue so I'm hopeful the linky you posted will be the one I am also needing.
