brougham Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Anyone else see the new Student-only CALs? Found them on the new price list from our supplier. They are under 50p compared to nearly a fiver for the existing type. Brougham
mitchell1981 Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Is this correct and what are the restrictions? I was planning to put in an 2008 server but the price of the new CALs was putting me off! Anyone have any more information on this? Thanks.

Freedom Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Is it just me or are those almost absolutely useless with those kind of restrictions? Any ideas on what we could actually use those for?
localzuk Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Is it just me or are those almost absolutely useless with those kind of restrictions? Any ideas on what we could actually use those for? They are good for places where laptops are assigned directly to a pupil... ie. the supposed future of ICT in schools.
