Hi All Progresso users...I am guessing there are not many of you but hoping someone sees this!

Is the only way you can assign a whole year group to a markbook in Progresso by creating an ad hoc group which will require constant maintainence because of students entering and leaving the academy or is there a way to create a dynamic group or add a year group to a markbook? I need heads of year to be able to access a whole year markbook to review targets (one markbook will contain all target review columns) without having to look on a class basis by subject. I am a Progresso noob as our Academy Trust is moving us all over to Progresso but I cannot access their support help desk (although I have heard that even if I could it may not be of much use) as we are not yet 'live' but are building our system at the moment and have to have certain things in and ready to go.

Any help greatly appreciated! Ta!

I don't think there's a way to dynamically include all students within a particular Year group on an Assessment screen unfortunately - as far as I know you'd have to add them to Ad Hoc group as you said.

Not currently. That said its pretty easy to use assign students and filter to year group when you approach an assessment point but it is a manual process.

Other way to look at it is could you write a report that provides them with the year view ? Or are you wanting them to tweak the targets there and then ?

Yes, they would need to make changes hence why a report is not sufficient in this case sadly.
