I'm using the Edugeek App 5.2.133 updated 20.12.16 and finding a few niggles with it - maybe its me but thought i'd put this out there.

* Under the What's New tab, unread threads just seem to blend in with the read threads. The only difference between them is a little blue bar, a bit like what's in outlook 2016 when we have unread messages. Maybe read threads could have a grey background or not use bold text.

* In messages / PMs, is there a way to have BCC listed.

* Tapping the Bell on the home screen takes us to the notifications screen but when in there, tapping the tick to acknowledge the notifications doesn't clear the list.

Is this on a phone or tablet?

I have the app on my tablet (Pixel C Android 7.1.1) and checking the tick clears notifications for me.

There's a little blue bar to the left of unread threads that vanishes when you read it

Its on a phone Samsung S6 running 5.1.1, sorry i should have stated.

The little blue bar disappears when i've read a post from the What's New tab but i was suggesting maybe take the boldness off the text too and turn the background grey maybe.

As for the notifications, the screen doesn't clear, the notifications remain, only the little red dot disappears to show that the notification is new.

The notifications in both android and iOS apps are not working properly. They're better than they were is all I can say. ZH has been talking to the developers, but when they change things it always seems to get worse :(

I don't know about bcc - not available as as far as I am aware. Messaging on the main site doesn't incorporate it.

I'd like messaging in conversation view, but that's not available either it seems. Again this may be a vbulletin restriction

Yeah, definately, this app actually gives me push notifications now. I guess its early daya but its usually the case when something's changed something else breaks.

BCC on the full site works [emoji4], i used it yesterday.

Maybe the developers will find ways for get the features into the app.

I will pass on the info about BCC, a lot of forum systems dont support BCC which is why I think it has been missed out.

Also I will be updating the plugin soon on the site but it broke older versions of the app so I want to ensure everyone has updated before changing it and it may help push notifications.

The list doenst clear, only the unread marker, it does get pruned after a month or so on the server side though.

HTTPS will be coming soon for the app as well.

I keep getting push notifications on threads which I haven't subscribed to, or even ever looked at. Is this just me? S6 Edge+, Android 6.0.1.

The main niggle I have with it is that it doesn't matter where I exit the app, it always opens up into BTRD. If I tap the back arrow, it takes me back to... BTRD (complete with full page swipe going on, so it is actually doing something). I have to tap it a bunch of times and eventually I get to the What's New tab.

That's on Android 7.0 on a HTC One M9.

Weird. Not had that on my Pixel C (7.1.1)

Its caused by stacked notifications (they are aware of the problem) where basically the last notification you get takes over the internal link app which drops you to the wrong place. When it does that you also have to hit back a few times to get it to de-glitch.

If it wasnt for the plugin and https issues I wouldnt rolled it out until that bug was fixed but timelines were against us. I will push them again for a fix.
