As a F1 YouTuber twetted yesterday, when codemasters release the F1 2017 game and you try and use the "look behind" view all your gonna see on that Force India is the shark wing.

I know why they are using it again (to get clean air for the rear wing and the dirty air to break high enough above it) but they are not the nicest of things to look at.

Also someone has already taken the front nose of that car and added some eyes so it looks like something with their arms up!

You can't tell volume from a video. However, it does look good and the engine note is fine for a turbo unit. They are never going to scream like the old V10s.

Other than the shark fin, one other thing I don't like is how wide the floor is behind the side pods. It's mostly notable from aerial shots. It just doesn't look right, as if it's been accidentally left on.

I'm aware of that. What i'm asking if they are any louder. I'll look for myself when i get home, can't unblock youtube just for that haha.

The new cars are fugly. The best thing so far are the liveries. Merc looks sweet from shots today.

Big birthday for me yesterday and my wife booked for us to go watch testing at Barcelona next week - with paddock tour. Looking forward to that!

Indeed. Odd how once again Mercedes end up with the best looking car by a LONG way, yet still always the quickest. Yet to be seen about the performance though, and they are likely to test a fin (other than Bottas... OK, I'll stop now). They just always remind me of the 1995 McLaren, easily one of the ugliest cars I remember.

Merc are testing the fin and the T wing this next week. Will be interesting to see how the new Power units compare as they have all made changes since last year (apart from Sauber which has the 2016 Spec Ferarri motor still)

Not impressed with the livery, how anyone can make orange look boring I've no idea.

You think it looks boring?!? I think it looks fantastic, and I may be delusional, but I reckon Honda have something up their sleeve for this years engine.

The paint job is a knock off of the 2007 Spyker.

I am probably biased since I have supported McLaren as long as I can remember but I think minus the shark finn the McLaren looks fantastic. Loving the orange. The Force India looks awful especially with the piece of plasterboard attached to the engine cover.
