Steve21 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 We just put in the full path for the users e.g. \\school.sch.uk\dfs\StuDocs\%username%\Documents\MyFavourites Obviously can take off the end part if you want it direct in their folder Steve 1

"the specified target location is not valid" I got it set up as a Basic Redirect everyones folder to the same location Create a folder for each user under the root path (i'm guessing i need to enter \staff\%username%\Favorites)

angrycomputingteacher Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I do this in the registry. I'll find it out for you if you need it.
FragglePete Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I do this in GPP. Setting is: Favorites Setting: Basic (Redirect everyone's folder to the same location) Path: %HOMESHARE%\Favorites However, on our 'admin' users we have got an issue we're looking into at the moment where these redirected favorites don't work. It works on our 'curriculum' machines with out issues, but not sure why on these. I've nailed it down to a particular GPO that when applied 'borks' them, but not nailed down the exact setting as of yet. (Its a GPO we have that sets all the IE11 policies with GPP, etc). Pete
