Can anyone help, sims is driving me mad, our data manager is trying print reports off but for some reason it is printing every other report, so student a and student c is printing but it misses out student b and d , its absolute nightmare and i cannot find out why it is happening.

Thanks

My support unit told me it was related to Windows Update. I had issues running updates so IT went for the nuclear option and re-imaged it. Fixed the problem. :)

Hi Victory

I am having exactly the same problem (I'm the data manager printing reports). Someone told me to hold the print queue, print the reports so they are all sent to the photocopier, then let the print queue print. I'm going to try this week and see if it works although not an ideal solution!

Hi , ive managed to sort it, though i had no idea what was causing it, we are using windows 10 , i applied all the latest updates and the issue has gone. So i would recommend anyone with the issue to make sure the client is fully up to date.

Thanks for all your help.

Interesting, we were having the same issue but the every other page which didn't print was printing a printer error page with some PCL error I think or something of those words and capita thought it was a printer driver issue as they couldn't replicate the fault after having a copy of our database.

We are having a similar problem with stapling only applied to every other report.

The word tepmplate is forced to custom stapling and you cannot change it to staple.

Mostly 32 bit clients here.
