pcet Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Hi, I've tried searching for this and couldn't find anything, so apologies in advance if it's covered elsewhere. A few of out schools have recently switched to Windows 10 and there seems to be a running problem across all of them. Randomly, across a multitude of different models, the classroom laptops switch between duplicate displayed and extended desktop. Some classrooms it's daily, some it's never happened once, but there is no set pattern or laptop/driver in common with the machines it happens on. It easily be changed back with windows+P but ideally I'd like Windows 10 to stop doing it and stick with duplicate. Has anyone else encountered and/or resolved this? Thanks

pcet Posted October 20, 2016 Author Posted October 20, 2016 Hi, It's doesn't seem to linked to power point, it's rarely used, it can happen at any time; being on the internet, using active inspire, using word/excel. I'll certainly try what you've said as anything is worth a shot, cheers.
alemanyorks Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Yes i've come across this, thought it may have been staff messing but does seem to just switch over & staff can never get it back! Any one else have any fixes for this.
GuyJD Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Can't say I've had the issue, all of my classrooms run windows 10 on duplicate, we do use desktop PC's though, none of our windows 10 laptops use a second screen.
