Meraki Set up

Hi All,

 

 

Please help!

 

 

I need to set up meraki in a school that hasn't got one before, How do I proceed?

 

 

secondly I need Need to create a meraki account for a school that has one already but want another one because they want to do away with the old on.

It's free for up to the first 100 clients, as to creating another account, I would just use an alternative e-mail address that was used previously and you should be fine.

Meraki MDM is not free now, there is just a limited trial available or full purchase.

Well I've been using it for a year and my license says..

Yeah it is still free as long as you have less than 100 devices. I created a Meraki account this morning and added it to my MSP portal and didn't have any issues.

I've heard conflicting reports about the future of Merak.

 

But according t the tech I spoke to a month or so back, they are starting/ have started to depreciate the free offering. - no updates limited support, and according to him (although no sign of it yet) they will be removing the option to sign up to the free service (people who already have it will still have access, but no new users allowed).

 

This is just what I was told. So if you're thinking about using meraki, it might be worth making an account sooner rather than later, so you've at least got the option.
