FragglePete Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 (edited) Thought that was a ReFS feature? Must be down the fact the new server is a bit quicker that what I used too. I've got the VMs running on a NTFS disk but may backup, re-format and restore to ReFS after looking into it. Server is not really being used in anger yet, so I'm still planning various migrations, etc so may give a whirl before it becomes 'mission critical'. One thing this has just thrown up; Veeam doesn't support Hyper-V on 2016 just yet.... it's due in the next release, 9.5 which is due later this year. I'm using this server to also introduce Veeam into the mix here (finally getting rid of BackUp Exec) but may have to delay that one a bit. Managed to install Veeam itself on a VM running 2016, but it just won't allow me to add the Host into the Infrastructure as it's running 2016 DC. RLR Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) I can only see System Centre 2016 Standard edition and Datacentre edition. Is System Centre a new name for Server 2016 or is system centre a special version of server 2016? Edited October 27, 2016 by RLR
FN-GM Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I can only see System Centre 2016 Standard edition and Datacentre edition. Is System Centre a new name for Server 2016 or is system centre a special version of server 2016? System Centre is for SCCM, DPM, SCVMM & Opps Manager. You need to look under the Windows Server section. 1
RLR Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 System Centre is for SCCM, DPM, SCVMM & Opps Manager. You need to look under the Windows Server section. Ah yes, I see now. Thanks
