moheed30 Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Hey, Currently in our highschool we have handed all the current year groups their own iPads. We manage these iPads on Apple School Manager and Airwatch. We've locked down the iPad alot preventing them from downloading apps and profiles however the children have found out a way to download a 3rd party app called 'Tutu'. this is used to download apps without accessing the App Store. If possible has anyone came across this issue and how have you solved it? We've blocked the site of download on the web-filter but they can simple downloading it at home from their down WiFi. Regards, Mo
tmoon-mint Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 (edited) Remove the ability to trust enterprise developers via your MDM. This should do the trick. Edited October 4, 2016 by tmoon-mint 1
moheed30 Posted October 4, 2016 Author Posted October 4, 2016 Perfect, Didnt see that lock down. The problem seem to be fixed for now, just curious on what would happen to the children who've already download tutu and have successful downloaded some dodgy games.
tmoon-mint Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Would be very interesting to find out. I'll give it a try on my test device next time I get a chance and update here.
