Hi,

Tips for using manage.bgfl365.uk IDaaS interface

If you are using the select all button make sure you have scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page as it loads the "presences" on demand so a select all will only select the presences that have been loaded on screen.

I haved asked Link2ICT/Groupcall to exclude syncing users from our MIS who do not have an e-mail address field populated as I don't wan't the dinnerladies and cleaners being synced from MIS and making the list of presences really long.

We don't like it all. You have no control over it.

When we were migrated over from Zimbra to BGFL365 there was no choice, no negotiation everyone on the MIS has to have an email address.

We do not need the J2E resources either and we don't need the cloud storage.

Users do not like to click through all those pages just to get your email. So we are stuck with email addresses for all the cleaners, dinner ladies, all the pupils and anyone on the staff database. So we are looking to migrate away to a host that provides a email system just for the staff who need email.

Is that for Outlook? If so that can be easily solved with group policy.

@sniffingmoose you have a little more control than I first thought. If you click settings > o365 provision settings you will see this screen where you can turn off provisioning for staff

Also you can add a bookmark for the outlook inbox which will have a URL like the following

https://outlook.office.com/owa/?realm=school.domain.here&exsvurl=1&ll-cc=en-GB&modurl=0

Thanks for the info. That does give us a bit of control. I guess If I turn that off I can then provision staff manually. Not sure if I can them delete the cleaners and dinner ladies email addresses. May be I will log a call with LinktoIct and ask.

We asked if we could have it so only users with a e-mail address listed in the MIS were provisioned in BGfL365. had a few I forgot about that were deleted but that was my own fault. GroupCall said they were flexible on what field in your MIS they use to flag to IDaaS if they should have an e-mail account or not.
