Office 2013 not Activating Volume

Got a slight problem with office 2013 and volume licence.

 

I've installed the kms host key and still having problems. About 90% of the school is fine but i got about 10% that are saying they cant find the server. Windows activates fine but office doenst?!

 

Any idea?

how did you install office?

 

If its part of the base image did you rearm it(and running sysprep dosent do this it just rearms windows) if not all the machines from that image will have 1 sid

if thats the case there is a command you can run to force it to generate a new sid but i cant remember it off hand

_VLMCS is missing from my DNS...... I'm sure we got problems witgh DNS here....

I got this error:

 

"The software Licensing Service reported that the product could not be activated. No KMS could be contacted. Please see the application event log for additional information"

looks like your dns for the kms is broken

I never install office on images, it only takes a few mins to install via gpo

 

is the kms running

I guessed that i might be.. it deleted it self off our DNS and i had to manually put it back on...
