Novalee Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 (edited) For a majority of people who use outlook here, they are getting the 'Trying to Connect...' in the bottom info bar - which interchanges with 'disconnected'. Mine is working - I'm using 2016 and they are 2013 I think. Any ideas? It's not really my area of expertise! These people can, however, connect to their mail through Office 365. mitchell1981 Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 You could try putting your details into this and it will let you know if there are any issues with any part of the connection process. Usually helps me to track down the problem. https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/
Novalee Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 Thanks @mitchell1981 The problem seems to have progressed somewhat now though. Noone can connect to our website from outside the organisation - also no mail is coming in at all now. It is going out - but anyone who tries to mail in immediately gets undelivered. We can browse the web etc. So outgoing seems fine - I'm really stuck!!
Novalee Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 However, internal mail is sending and receiving okay.
thimon Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Having issues here as well. Service desk are currently putting it down to our firewall though...
Novalee Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 Well think we've sorted it. Our DNS hosting account had been suspended... back on now! Thanks everyone.
