New Phone Recording system

Good Evening all,

 

I have been asked to look into buying a new phone recording system. Currently we have a oak system which and we use a old computer (windows xp) to download recordings we need.

 

I have told them we need to update the machine to windows 7 or newer and i have been given a quote for around £2000 to have everything updated and new software installed.

 

My Line manager wants to compare this with a brand new phone recording system and i am unsure what companies offer this. what system do you use and whats the best one to choose?

I am quite new to the phone system side but i know we have ISDN2 8 channels and we have around 33-100 Extensions.

We use a brand new Mitel PBX - with OAK - no complaints here, works well.

+1 for 3cx. Has everything in one package. Turn on features you want to use. We got a quote for the same thing 3cx offered with samsung and we were looking over 26k.

3CX is a whole PBX phone system. Not really what he is asking for.

Yes. But it is a cost effective option that is worth mentioning as it offers call recording at no addional cost.

Same as what @ITGuyWestMidlands says. Can vouch for 3CX as they have call recording included in the system with no extra costs
