Windows 10 and iPads

Hi

 

On my Win 10 machines its recognizing the iPads as an Internal Storage device in "Computer" but when i open it, there is nothing in there. Does anyone know why this is?

I have loaded iTunes on another win 10 pc and on this one it doesn't put it in "Computer at all!

 

All i need to do is get the photos from it.

Have you "trusted" your computer on the ipad?

Repluged it back in after. (we got to unplug and re-plug it to see the internal storage.

Hi techie08,

 

I had this problem with my friends Windows 10 machine.

 

We found that the problem was the driver, Windows had just auto installed there own driver on the device, not the driver from Apple. We got it working by deleting the Windows driver from the Device Manager and then Scanning for hardware changes which installed the correct driver.

 

Don't know if it will work for you, but worth a try, good luck!
