Hey guys,

This is an odd one, has anyone seen anything like it?

We have a Smart Tech E70 Smartboard plugged into an HP Prodesk 400 series (running an ATI HD 5750 graphics card with the latest non-beta drivers from AMD), via HDMI and mirrored to a regular screen connected via DVI.

If the screen is left Frozen for more than 10 minutes or so, whenever you open or close a "maximised" program window the board will drop connection momentarily - the screen flickers to black and the on screen input label comes up. Once it's started this quickly ramps up to happening 80-90% of the time any program is opened or closed (even notepad).

Opening or closing programs from a non maximised state appears to have no effect. There is no sign of this on the regular screen.

While some users have claimed to have seen it during other operations, this is the above is the only reliable way we can replicate the issue.

Any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Not had that issue but we have had one of our E70s replaced twice for flickering and distorted display problems (VGA only). Does the same happen if cabled with DVI or VGA? This is with our ATI 5450.

Our issue only presented if we had both displays at the correct 1920x1080 resolution. A Steljes engineer we had in didn't check this and didn't replicate the problem.

We changed ours connections to match yours too, HDMI-E70 mirrored to DVI-TFT. Otherwise we had an issue with screen tearing in videos.
