DISCOVER - Veriry %File% Age to Confirm Data Transfer?

Hi all - just having a bit of a think. A while back something broke that meant Discover didn't do it's data transfer overnight and we didn't notice for a while.

 

Fixed now, but I was wondering if there was an easy way (say, reference the age of a file) to check as a scheduled task to verify this'd happened daily.

 

Anyone got any ideas on that? Grateful for any help or suggestions.

You could write and schedule a script to search Discover.Warehouse.Service.log for problem key words, e.g the word "ERROR", and then return the line containing the key word and if the date = time of test then you know that something is wrong.
