PCs won't boot to network with F12

Hi,

I have two new PCs which are the same as all other PCs in the school except they came with Windows 8 instead of Win 7. Normally when I first boot up a new PC I go into the BIOs and change the boot order to pick the network card first then re-boot and press F12 to get to my image choice on the network. With these PCs pressing f12 doesn't do anything and they go straight into Windows.

At first I suspected the keyboard wasn't being recognised on boot but this can't be so as I got to the BIOS ok.

 

Any ideas, its doing my head in?

The 1st photo below is a picture of the new PC BIOS and the 2nd is a picture of an existing PC BIOS.

We have some nucs that only give the boot options with a long press of the power button. but that may be fast boot - i've never checked

I have fast boot enabled on one of them and disabled on the other just to test but they are the same.

Well you have UEFI boot on the new one too, but what OS are you going to run on it?

The image we use is Win 7 Enterprise.

Disable UEFI boot, and put it back to legacy then

What machines are they?

 

Nowadays I wouldn't accept legacy boot as a fix, UEFI is so much faster to boot.

Not if the servers aren't setup for it
