Buy............ new TV!!!!!!!! lol it gets worse if i buy a 4k tv id also need to replace my amp to one that supports hdmi2 to pass the signal to the tv (id also need some 4k source and while i intend getting an xbox scorpio they arnt out for another 18 months by which time i expect 4k hdr tvs to be cheaper anyway)

I made a concious decision a while back that if you wait for tech to get where you want it you then begin to look at the next gen coming down the road and it stops you once more. I decided that when it comes to 'new' tech I would purchase the already established current gen rather than looking a year or so in advance. ATM I am looking at purchasing the XBox 1S with a view to get a 4k TV next year at some point. The XBone is established and has plenty of support, the 1S will have 4k BluRay playback and 4k tv's will be a lot cheaper next year. All I have to do then is get jealous of the Scorpio owners when that gets released!

All I have to do then is get jealous of the Scorpio owners when that gets released! yup i dont think my hdtv is 2 years old yet replacing another hdtv that was fine (i mainly did it because my parents next doorish neighbors tv had dies and money was tight so they got my parents tv my parents got mine and i got a new one otherwise i dont think i could justify replacing it and then shoving a working tv in the loft). Same with 4k i want one but then i need a source and so far as ive just canned my netflix subscription i dont have one (bar the odd youtube vid) and i dont want to replace tv/amp/pc at the same time im sure 4k is better but enough better to spend 1k+ on stuff to watch a vert limited amount of stuff not yet. tbh i dont think id bother with a xbox one s id just get a 2nd hand standard one as aparently ive heard ms will do trade in deals when the scorpio is out ive heard
