How many of us are playing this and what are your impressions?

 

My impression after four months grind is, 'It'll be nice when it's finished'. Oh, yeah, and 'Hi, everyone' by the way, haven't logged-on for a while.

Still playing not as much as I should though! The Division is currently my No1 Game

It's going down hill fast.

 

It was already a grind fest, but engineers has turned it into a MASSIVE grindfest in order to get a "lottery ticket" [of getting a good engineer mod], even then, you may not win anything!

I kickstarted it to the level required for a lifetime pass with all future expansions and access to the beta but have never logged in - or even installed it. I remember playing the original Elite and jumped for joy when this one was announced but on the odd occasions I went to the forum it was looking more and more like becoming a simulator and less and less like a game.

I keep meaning to play it again but it means I would have to setup my joystick again and I have simply been too busy.

I enjoy it for hours when I do log in though.

Not played it for a while. Im triple elite with over a billion in credits and have 3 anacondas and a corvette & various amounts of other ships, but have nothing else to play for.

Powerplay was what I was playing for but now FDEV have destroyed that too so I guess, yeah nothing left to do apart from grinding for engineer materials.

 

On the upside, the new AI is much more fun than before, the new missions are much better than before.

I started playing again recently, as I bought the XBox One version. Quite nice and relaxing to lie in bed and zip around the universe.

I decided to dip a toe in again last night, just in time to catch the Moirai CG. 138MCr. I missed hitting the next tier by minutes. Will the whole things be some 'mistake'!

It was a bug, one of the many bugs in the game. I suspect you'll keep you're money though - they don't tend to do things that would enrage the player base even if it was "wrong"
