loonytunes Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Hi, having moved most of our iPads over to Meraki over the last few months I'm onto the last batch. However when opening the email invitation for Meraki VPP, it opens in safari and then just gets stuck so it doesn't redirect to iTunes. I get a message saying sign in to associate account but I already am. Any suggestions? Our push certificates and tokens are in date.
ITJS2015 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 It needs to be on a windows machine, make sure that its doesn't open in any app form on windows 8 or windows 10. I have noticed it needs IE desktop, if your doing it via a MacBook then I would recommend checking that your iTunes on the MacBook is signed out as it asked you to sign in with the email address which you have provided with meraki
ITJS2015 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 If you have windows 7 machine with iTunes on it you will be fine, sign in to your email OWA if you use it click on the link and it should just open up iTunes and prompt you with credentials which should be your iTunes account
Brimstone Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Sorry...? You're doing all this on single laptop and not an iPad? you'll get problems with pushing apps to them if you're not using the users iPad for this.
RLR Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 We're getting this also on Casper. I contacted their support and it is an issue with the iPad and not the MDM. I think the issue is with IOS 9.3.2. The alternative way round it is to do the acceptance on a MAC. I just tried it on a windows 7 machine and couldn't get it to work (iTunes is installed). Might be that my iTunes isn't being detected.
ITJS2015 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 What Web browser are you using ? How are you accepting the invitation ?
loonytunes Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Thanks for your replies. I'm trying to accept the invitation on the iPad. If as suggested the problem is with iOS 9.3.2 I'll have a go at doing it on the Mac to see if that works. Thanks
RLR Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 What Web browser are you using ? How are you accepting the invitation ? Just got it to work on a Windows 7 machine also. Had to use firefox as this asked me what application I wanted to use to open the link. It seems my chrome and Internet explorer are not detecting my Itunes installation. Was using an email invite.
ITJS2015 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Yep glad its working, iv have used chrome which doesn't work well. IE should definitely work as it may need a reset on IE? As long it is working in firefox then you shouldn't have anymore problems Its always good idea to have more than one browser
