neonetman Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 I've been asked by our BM to look at how we manage staff on site. At present it's a paper register manual filled in with those we know are not in, however we're looking to see if there's a better way of doing it. Can you give me some indication how you manage yours, and what (if any) technology is involved. Cheers
CHR1S Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 We have a custom install of these - Visitor Sign In : Education & IT Ltd Using our Access Control proximity cards to allow staff to sign in/out. The back end software then keeps the log and prints a sheet if the emergency button is pressed or a web based one can be accessed on an iPad/tablet/laptop.
p858snake Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Haven't used it myself, But when i was looking previously, inVentry did seem popular.
johnat1121 Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 We use clock in and out on paxton, when the fire alarm goes off a relay trips in one of the Control Units which causes a roll call to be printed in multiple places you can have as many clock in and out readers as needed which is great when you are spit across multiple buildings also an Iphone app which can be useful if there is a power cut as the servers and wifi are all on UPSs.
