Your routers will have all the routes for the different subnets, and as long as your firewall rules allow it, data will flow across subnets. We have 4 sites, 2 100MB lines, 2 20MB lines, spoke and wheel SonicWall VPN Site-to-Site between them all, 4 main subnets, plenty of DMZ subnets. We have CCTV, Doors, Printers etc all accessible from anywhere on the system.

 

1 big subnet across all, is a BIG can of worms!
