DC VMWare to Hyper-V conversion

Hi,

 

Just wondering if anyone here has experience converting a DC from VMWare to Hyper-v and if so would you recommend it over migration. Also what kind of issues are likely to arise and what conversion tools are best.

I did it years ago using the MS tools and it worked fine. You could also try a bare metal recovery to a new Hyper-V machine as this should work in theory.
