Sylv3r Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 A couple of our feeder primary schools which we have recently started to support have SQL 2012 SP3 pending in the Microsoft Updates. I know SQL 2012 is still supported for a while yet, but does anybody know if we are OK to install SP3. I've had a look on the Supportnet / My account pages and I couldn't see anything to say what SP was supported and whether it was save to do so. Thanks Andrew
pete Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 We've been running it since Feb this year without issue (and also didn't find any info). Give the helldesk a shout for confirmation. Historically, Capita have only been leery about new versions of stuff, not service packs that fix problems with the supported versions.
vikpaw Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 ...Give the helldesk a shout for confirmation.... Freudian ?
pete Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Freudian ? Deliberate. They're programmed into our phone system as $Company Helldesk, mostly as a hint to my more demanding users to give first line a break unless they're being particularly daft.
