Hi guys,

Finally given up with my Nokia Lumia 735 Windows phone, had nothing but issues and I am about to throw it through a window, with a bomb attached to it. I have the phone on a 2 year contract from Virgin and my renewal is not until next March. So I was thinking of buying another phone off eBay/Amazon to keep me going for the time being, but would prefer to go back to Android if possible.

So my question is, if I buy a unlocked Android and the SIM cards are the same size can I easily without issue put my SIM card from my Nokia (bluh!!) Lumia into a Android phone?

Cheers

Make sure the sim card is the same size, otherwise you might have to do some cutting down.

Apart from that it should be fine, you might get a text from virgin saying that you've changed phone and they need to apply some changes but apart from that should be fine.

When upgrading from my last phone [Android -> Android, Tesco -> Tesco] my old SIM would not fit in the new phone. What I have now is a micro (or nano?) SIM. I believe I had a standard SIM in the old phone.

I had to do a SIM transfer to keep my old number.

Standard, as in full size? That must have been a really old phone! ;)

I think it must have been the standard in my diagram, Mini (2FF) in your diagram?
