Burconix_Greg Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 For Paint.NET Download and Extract from: http://www.dotpdn.com/files/paint.net.4.0.9.install.zip C:\Users\%username%\Downloads\paint.net.4.0.9.install\paint.net.4.0.9.install.exe /auto /createMsi It creates a folder on your desktop: C:\Users\%username%\Desktop\PaintDotNetMsi PaintDotNet_x64.msi PaintDotNet_x86.msi 2
DJ-1701 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) With regard to paint.net there are instructions on how to make a compatible MSI installer here using command line options and the download on their website. Unattended Installation (Basically it's type /createMsi at the end and it should generate the standalone installers on your desktop). Still looking for GIMP atm. Edit: Looks like I was beaten to the punch with Paint.Net If anyone wants to down Paint.Net 4.0.9 MSIs for x86 and x64 I have placed a copy here. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_cw4VGTZ-csSlVVSmYxWHhlSG8 Edited May 26, 2016 by DJ-1701 Paint.Net MSI link
DJ-1701 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 All be it an older version now, the wonderful @Arthur made a couple of MSIs back in 2013 it seems but the links are dead. I don't suppose you have them still kicking about somewhere @Arthur?
Arthur Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) I don't suppose you have them still kicking about somewhere @Arthur? I'll check. If not, I'll create an updated MSI. Edited May 26, 2016 by Arthur 2

Burconix_Greg Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 No problem, glad it worked. I appreciate you might want an MSI for Gimp, but for info you can run the exe with a command param: C:\Users\%username%\Downloads\gimp-2.8.16-setup-2.exe /verysilent Give it a min or 2 in the background, (or watch with taskman) and it will just install with defaults without displaying a GUI. Arthur Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 @DJ-1701, @Novalee Here's an MSI for the latest 64-bit version of GIMP... Download: GIMP v2.8.16 (x64) I'll upload the 32-bit version later (if required?). 1
Novalee Posted May 26, 2016 Author Posted May 26, 2016 @DJ-1701, @Novalee Here's an MSI for the latest 64-bit version of GIMP... Download: GIMP v2.8.16 (x64) I'll upload the 32-bit version later (if required?). Fantastic! Thank you so much - I'd love the 32-bit too please if it's not too much trouble - half our machines are on 32bit still.
Arthur Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I'd love the 32-bit too please if it's not too much trouble - half our machines are on 32-bit still. Here's the 32-bit version... 32-bit: GIMP v2.8.16 (x86) (Mirror) 64-bit: GIMP v2.8.16 (x64) (Mirror) I have uploaded both MSIs to two different locations just in case one of them goes down in the future. 2
