My sister's partner and I had to go to his old house to collect something before he moved out, I'd already had my shower as it was about 11pm so had PJ's, slippers and my dressing gown on. We were joking around about heading to a nightclub nearby (not usually the type of establishment we frequent) and not being dressed formally enough. I gestured at my slippers and dressing gown and said "It's fine, I'll Arthur Dent this! Oh, I forgot my towel..." and from his glove-box he pulled out a towel with the words Don't Panic stitched in.

 

We were laughing so hard he nearly crashed the car. He'd put the towel in his car a couple of years ago and it had never been used, but he said that his comic timing justified that towel's existence...
