Hitachi ED A100 Projector Switching Off

Hi

 

I have an Hitachi ED A100 in school that keeps shutting itself down after 10 , 15 minutes use.

 

We have about 25 of these in school and we have had major issues with the motors. This looks like a different problem. Its as if the machine is over heating and just switching off. Ive reset the timers and cleaned the filter but doesnt seem to be fixing it.

 

Has anyone seen this before? Is it fixable?

Thanks for the quick response. Our projectors are all out of warranty now by a few years.

Might still be worth trying the serial - you never know!

Out of guarantee but I've contacted them for advise on the problem. It seems to be a heating issue in my opinion. But can't be sure

What do the Lights say are they both red? flashing?
